Terms of Use

Accounts

Every homeowner and professional must maintain an accurate account, protect login credentials, and use the platform only for legitimate projects and services. CovantAIQ may suspend, ban, archive, or delete accounts for fraud, misconduct, abuse, nonpayment, or policy violations.

Homeowner listing fee

A homeowner project is published only after the $5 listing fee is paid. Drafting a project does not trigger matching. Refund, duplicate-payment, rejected-listing, and cancellation rules must be finalized before launch.

Matching and response slots

Each paid project begins with an initial matched wave of up to three qualified professionals. If fewer than three response slots are claimed during the two-hour response window, CovantAIQ may automatically invite additional qualified professionals. No project may have more than three active provider bids at one time.

Professional membership

Approved professionals may start a 30-day free trial. The subscription then renews at $39 per month until canceled. Inactive, canceled, or past-due memberships stop receiving and claiming new opportunities, but access to existing connected projects may continue as needed.

Marketplace role

CovantAIQ is a matching and communication platform, not the contractor, employer, agent, payment collector for project work, or guarantor of either party. Homeowners and providers contract and settle project payments directly.

Credentials and California routing

Users must independently confirm current licensing, insurance, permits, scope, pricing, references, and contract terms. Unlicensed profiles are not eligible for work that appears to require licensing, permits, employee labor, or that exceeds applicable California minor-work limits.

No guarantee and disputes

CovantAIQ does not guarantee availability, quality, safety, legality, pricing, or completion. A full refund, dispute-resolution, arbitration, limitation-of-liability, and subscription-cancellation policy must be approved before public launch.
